Allow Your Loved Ones to Spend Their Final Years in Familiar and Safe Surroundings
According to a recent study, one in eight Americans over the age of 65 has some symptoms of Alzheimer’s Disease, the most common form of dementia. Alzheimer’s can affect almost every aspect of a person’s life. Your loved one may have lived at the same place for 30 or more years, but forget where the bathroom is. They may have difficulty remembering what they’ve told you, where they’ve left things, and whether or not they’ve turned an appliance on (or off).
Often, family members are forced to provide unpaid care for parents or loved ones suffering from Alzheimer’s. Currently, more than 15 million Americans provide some type of unpaid care to loved ones suffering from Alzheimer’s. There is an alternative: in-home health care services.
At Star Multi Care, we provide comprehensive home health care services to individuals facing the challenges that come with Alzheimer’s Disease. Our licensed care providers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We offer medical and non-medical assistance, helping clients with a wide range of needs, including the management of medication, light housekeeping, accompaniment to medical and other appointments, and assistance with personal care, such as bathing, dressing and shaving. We work with the Law Office of Bonnie Lawston who will review the service contracts for you, provide information and assistance in preparing all estate and elder law documents necessary.
We offer in-home health care services in New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida. If your loved ones spend their summers in the north and their winters in Florida, we can provide uninterrupted care to meet their needs.
