Can I get help after normal business hours?

Star Multi care staff answers phones 24-hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. Our registered nurses are also on call 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Call toll free: (877) 920-0600 to speak with one of our home care experts.

Once I engage your services, how long will it take to get services in place?

We aim to have caregiver services in place within 24 hours and where possible, within the same day.

What if mom doesn’t like her caregiver?

We understand that interpersonal relationships are important for the caregiver and patient. If a caregiver is not right for your situation, we are happy to find one who is compatible

If mom goes into the hospital, can an aide stay with her?

Yes, our home health care aides are available to stay with patients in the hospital or alternative healthcare facility.

Can you provide someone to go with dad on his doctor’s appointments?

Yes, our home health care aides may accompany patients to medical appointments when approved by the assigned Registered Nurse supervisor.

I live out of town and my mom needs help getting out of bed in the morning and getting back upstairs in the evening. Can Star Multi Care help?

Yes, our home health care aides are available to meet your requirements in the timeframe necessary to meet your needs. Our goal is to deliver peace of mind. Please ask about or Sunrise/Sunset packages in your area.

My father is a snowbird, can Star Multi Care provide home health services year round?

With offices in Southeastern Florida, New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio, our experienced and compassionate employees are able to deliver uninterrupted quality care for individuals who spend winters in Florida and in the north for the summers.

Can you provide me with references?

Star Multi Care Services has been providing home health care services for more than 70 years. We are always happy to provide references.

Are payment plans available for home healthcare services?

At Star Multi Care, billing and payment coordinators gladly assist you with a convenient payment plan. If you prefer, we will even arrange for a member of our staff to come to your home, evaluate your needs and assist in creating a payment plan that is right for you and your family.

What are my payment choices for home healthcare services?

Our staff uses the following sources to manage your insurance and healthcare coverage:

• All major credit cards
• Public Third Party Payors, such as Medicaid, Veterans Administration, Tricare
• Private Third-Party Payors
• Indemnity Plans, Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs), Medicare Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), Workers Compensation, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Long Term Care Insurance.
• Individual (Out-of-Pocket) Payment. You may purchase our home health care services by the hour or by the visit.

Our professional staff will investigate all avenues of payment to maximize your level of coverage, while minimizing your out-of-pocket expenses or in most cases, eliminating them altogether.
